And now, for something completely different: a Polaris Slingshot. This is not mine. Polaris has graciously loaned me one for two weeks to review for ADVRider (and whoever else I can convince to publish my thoughts about it).
It has nothing to do with van life, but it does give me an opportunity to mention that if you’d like to follow my automotive, motorcycle, and weird-three-wheeled-thing writing, you can follow my blog over on my professional website. I hadn’t been using it much in the past, but since I don’t have much to write about here these days, and because they say writers should have an email newsletter, I’ve started posting there regularly to begin using it for both purposes. It’s basically about what I’m up to in the vehicle world and what writing and editing projects I’m working on these days. At the moment, it’s driving and reviewing the Slingshot.
I realize that not everyone who reads Smokey Da Van will be interested in such things. That’s perfectly fine. But with quite a few regular readers here who have joined me over the years, this is my one and only spam post to invite you to follow me over there if you’re interested.
